Pilates is an intelligent, elegant, system of corrective exercises, with a unique approach, sensible methodology and principles that govern the work. The Pilates principles that must be at the forefront of your practice are: control, concentration, centering, precision, fluidity and breathing.

We start with an introduction to the fundamentals: body placement, proprioceptive focus, the breathing technique, the predominate muscle groups that must be activated to practice Pilates correctly, the language of Pilates, followed by basic warm up movements that enable me to identify your postural patterns, asymmetries, joint mobility and overall flexibility.

Next we proceed to futher acquaint you with the Pilates technique with a selection of basic level exercises that address your bodily needs and your fitness goals. We add exercises with increasing levels of challenge as progress is made.
